Welcome to the Slippin Silo home page and thank you for your interest in cavity nesting birds.  This is the place to learn more about one of the world's newest and most innovative nest boxes for cavity nesters. Although primarily intended for use with bluebirds, this nest box is quite suitable for many of the smaller cavity nesting bird species.  Visitors are encouraged to explore this site to learn more about the "Cadillac of nest boxes." 

Mission

To design, build and market a bluebird nest box that provides most of the requirements of cavity nesting birds and fulfills the needs of bluebird landlords in addition to enhancing their birding experiences.

Personal Profile

As the designer, builder and marketer of the Slippin Silo, I am an avid bluebird supporter with several years of experience on a bluebird trail.  My "nest box business" is a very small operation in the basement of my home in Southeastern Ohio.  Readers who are interested in learning more about me, my hobbies and my business should click on "about the designer".

As an avid bird lover, I am a member of the Ohio Bluebird Society, North American Bluebird Society and the Purple Martin Conservation Association
